Job Description

We have an exciting client-side opportunity working for a leading Estates Management organisation located across Wiltshire and Hampshire.

As the Strategic Change and Delivery Manager you will…

  • Work closely with the Executive, leading all aspects of strategic change.
  • Maintain oversight of all change to ensure status and quantum is understood and potential problems are identified early. Ensure the contractual change process runs efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Manager to ensure any aspects of change or construction which could have a detrimental impact on future liabilities are highlighted and mitigated in a timely manner.
  • Lead assurance activity to ensure key sub-contractors are delivering in accordance with contractual and statutory requirements, primarily in the areas of construction and change.
  • Fulfil responsibilities as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) supporting the Executive by providing timely advice, information and recommendations on strategic matters and opportunities for improvement in the way the business is run.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant technical discipline i.e. Construction/Property/FM
  • Chartered member of CIOB, RICS, ICE or similar professional body.
  • A good working and technical knowledge of the construction
    industry and facilities management operations, including
    construction methodology and defect analysis.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance – fire protection; legionella;
    asbestos etc.
  • Practical knowledge and/or awareness of CDM Regulations (2015)
    and HSE inc. Building Regulations, BS 9999 (Fire Safety),
    BREEAM/DREAM etc.
  • Commercial experience and contract management skills.
  • ICT literate – sound working knowledge of MS Word; Excel; Project
    and Outlook.
  • Hold or can gain UK security clearance.

Preferable:

  • Knowledge or experience of working with public sector client and/or working on MoD estate.
  • Knowledge or experience of PFI contracts.
