Job Description
Our client is an award winning contractor working in partnership with the UK Government to provide Infrastructure, TFM and Construction services across a number of Defence locations in Wiltshire and Hampshire.
We have a requirement for a Project Manager who will be responsible for delivering small to medium sized construction/refurbishment projects across Tidworth & Bulford Garrisons.
- Ensure Projects are specified, tendered, procured and executed in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Compliance with company management system including all procedures and processes with regards to Lifecycle and Backlog, Project Management, Procurement and Finance.
- Ensure Projects are executed with minimum disruption to Services and the Customer.
- Liaise with line management to ensure adequate resources are in place to deliver the project programme.
- Ensure that all Projects are delivered in line with the CDM Regulations and company Safe System of Work, Asbestos Management and QHSE requirements and risk reviews.
- Manage Building Regulations/Control and Planning Applications.
- Manage and control subcontractors.
- Provide concise reports to line management on all programme and project delivery issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
- An industry recognised qualification in Engineering, Building or Facilities Management.
- Professional Membership desirable. E.g. MCIOB, MRICS or MIET.
- Formal Project Management qualifications or proven experience.
- Microsoft Project intermediate level.Health & Safety qualified.
- SC level Security Clearance desirable.
