Job Description

Our client is an award winning Facilities Management support provider with a long term contract to maintain various commercial/industrial MOD assets in Wiltshire & Hampshire.

As an Asset Manager your primary responsibility is to support the Estates General Manager as the Gatekeeper of the estate, advising on the condition and business intelligence to inform strategic business decisions.

You will ensure completion of the Estate conditioning survey programme to identify and justify lifecycle project works, while also liaising with the Project Delivery Teams to ensure that the Acceptance into Use for the Estate is undertaken and that all data relating to the new and changed assets is captured.

You will also work together with the Maintenance Teams regarding the status of assets’ post maintenance activities including any asset changes, and will manage the Risk Escalation process and specifically ensure all reactive Lifecycle claims are justified with supporting evidence.

Management of technical and data departments who collate, update and maintain an accurate asset database in line with business procedures and processes including the management of maps, drawings and asset plans.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Industry recognised qualifications in engineering, building services or FM. Ideally to degree level with association to a technical body.
  • Sound understanding of surveying of large, complex estates, including data management.
  • Proven line management experience of technically diverse estate/data teams.
  • Experience of managing commercial or government asset portfolios.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Hold or have the ability to gain government security clearance.
  • Full driving licence.
