Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of advanced technology across the UK defence sector. This opportunity is to grow our clients’ systems engineering team supporting the development of bespoke training and rehearsal systems.  These systems typically include:

• Development of simulators and their integration into wider training systems
• Integration of synthetic, live and constructive capabilities for training and rehearsal activity
• Development of bespoke exercise systems across air/land/maritime/space domains
• Integration of military voice, video, information and communications systems
• Integration of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality into training systems
• Build of distributed networked systems for experimentation and training capability
• Integration of systems and information across security levels
• Build of demonstration and prototype systems

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant professional engineering qualification, e.g., CEng / ASEP / MSc / BSc) or equivalent working experience
• Membership of appropriate/relevant professional body, e.g., INCOSE / IMechE / IET
• Engineering delivery experience using systems engineering methodologies and knowledge of technology / domain space.
• Defence training and simulation/synthetic environment experience
• Full lifecycle systems engineering – ideally Verification validation focussed
