Reactive Maintenance Manager, Tidworth Wiltshire.

Our client is an award-winning Facilities Management organisation tasked with the largest UK MoD PFI contract, supporting the British Army across various diverse site in Wiltshire and Hampshire.

The Reactive Maintenance Manager for Tidworth & Bulford Garrison’s has specific responsibility for managing the maintenance workforce. The successful applicant will, in conjunction with the Estates General Manager maintain and operate the Garrison’s assets in line with Contractual requirements and completed to the required standard ensuring engineering good practice and organisational management processes and procedures.

Qualification & Experience:

• Industry recognised qualification in Building, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• IOSH Managing Safely
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Project).
• Extensive line management experience of large engineering teams within a facilities management setting.
• Ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams to meet objectives.
• Experience of managing commercial or government asset portfolios.
• Proven financial and commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to deal with delivering change.
• Excellent written communication skills including report writing.
• Flexible, adaptable, professional.
• Commercially aware with good negotiating skills.
• Technically competent with the ability to think analytically in a logical and systematic manner which shows a structured approach to organising work.
• An effective communicator building positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
