JLL appoints former Rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson

Real estate firm JLL has appointed former England Rugby World Cup winner Matt Dawson as executive director, strategic clients.

Dawson will join the firm’s EMEA Work Dynamics Board and will execute account strategies for JLL’s portfolio of high-value clients, build C-suite level relationships with key decision-makers and identify cross-selling opportunities within JLL’s comprehensive service portfolio across EMEA.

Best known for his pivotal role in England’s 2003 Rugby World Cup victory, Dawson has subsequently transitioned from sports into business and media.

Since 2010, he has served as an ambassador for Sodexo, where he worked across multiple business segments, supporting client engagement initiatives and promoting health and wellbeing across the UK and Ireland.

With 15 years’ experience of working in the real estate sector, Dawson has also enjoyed a successful tenure as a Strategic Sales Consultant with The Instant Office Group.

JLL said the appointment to the newly created role leveraged Dawson’s extensive business development and client engagement experience to strengthen the company’s relationships with high-value clients.

“Matt’s exceptional ability to build and nurture relationships at the highest levels makes him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Sue Asprey Price, CEO EMEA Work Dynamics and Global Head of Portfolio Services.

“His track record of connecting with C-suite executives and his strategic mindset align perfectly with our commitment to delivering unparalleled value to our clients.”
